    Job Title: Engineering Apprentice

    This role is located in our Tulisa Park office, where you will provide administrative support to our Engineering and Maintenance teams. You will be responsible for various tasks such as raising Purchase Orders, following up on shipments, filing documents, managing contractors, and assisting with task execution.

    About the Role:

    • Raise Purchase Orders (SRM and SAP) and follow up on orders.
    • Raise job cards when requested and close job cards, reporting any deviations noted.
    • Filing and scanning of documents.
    • Contractor management, ensuring areas are neat and tidy.
    • Assist with contacting suppliers for quotes.
    • Provide support to task execution in one of the Engineering or Maintenance areas.
    • Maintain and update records of drawings, manuals, SOPs, and other information storage means/devices.
    • Monitor Key Performance Indicators and issue reports upon request.
    • Plan and schedule repair and maintenance work for the site.
    • Involved in failure analysis to determine the root cause of equipment failures and recommend improvements.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 qualification.
    • Studying towards a qualification as an Electrician or Millwright, or require workplace experience to complete the trade test.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure.

    The learner will receive a stipend for this role. Preference will be given to disabled and/or EE candidates.
