Job Title: Electrician

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified electrician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Perform physical wiring of equipment according to production priorities.
Monitor consumable usage to improve cost saving.
Assist in updating electrical diagrams and drawings, reporting any problems encountered.
Help update the electrical bill of materials (BOM) for equipment, reporting any issues.
Collaborate in designing new electrical circuits and electronic equipment, as well as improving existing products when required.
Program, calibrate, and test touch screen-controlled equipment to ensure it meets specifications.
Maintain plant electrical systems: inspect and repair any electrical tool or machinery issues on site.
E nsure compliance with all departmental and plant safety rules and regulations.
Check electrical consumable stock levels based on BOM requirements and report shortages.
Prepare reports detailing production output.
Bakery or catering equipment experience is an advantage.
Note: this role involves working with 3-phase control circuits, SSRs, contactors, overloads, electrical motors, temperature controllers, timers, switchgear with touch screen control/PC control board systems.

Requirements:

Hold a Qualified Electrician - Red Seal Artisan certification.
Possess a Wireman's License.
Having experience with PLC installation and programming is an asset.

Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year
