    Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant

    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist Assistant to join our team at Clicks Menlyn Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services and performing day-to-day dispensary administration according to company's Standard Operating Plans (SOPs).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Customer Service: Deliver high standards of customer service and care, ensuring a positive experience for every patient.
    • Stock Control and Administration: Efficiently manage stock levels, including repacking of medicine, to maintain a smooth operation.
    • Dispensary Administration: Effectively manage dispensary operations, maintaining accurate records and adhering to SOPs.
    • Health Advice: Provide general health advice to patients, promoting healthy lifestyles and well-being.
    • Housekeeping and Merchandise Display: Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
    • Ad Hoc Requirements: Perform ad hoc tasks as required by operational needs.

    Requirements:

    • Qualifications: Matric with Maths (Essential)
    • Experience: Minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa for the various levels as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic and Learner Basic)

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Product Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of Health isle and OTC products
    • Laws and Regulations: Strong understanding of SAPC and relevant legal knowledge
    • Customer Focus: Customer service orientated with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care
    • Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Integrity: Demonstrated integrity and ethical working practices
    • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Basic Calculations: Ability to perform basic calculations
    • IT Skills: Familiarity with IT Business Operating Systems and MS Office
