We are looking to recruit for a permanent Training Facilitator to work for United Pharmaceutical Distributors (UPD).

The role will be based in the Lea Glen branch, and will be reporting to the Training and Development Manager.

Job Purpose


To execute the learning and development plan for UPD that delivers an improved talent pipeline in line with the business unit's operating plan, the Group Learning & Development framework, National Skills Development and the Group Transformation agenda.

Job Objectives:


  • Deliver learning and development programmes that support the organizational transformation agenda.
  • Manage resources to deliver operating plan and business needs.
  • To coordinate the delivery of learning programmes in line with the approved calendar, budget and Group learning and development framework standards in order to deliver the divisional plan.
  • To schedule employees on training and development programmes in consultation with HR and line managers in line with the calendar.
  • To facilitate and ensure delivery of learning and development programmes in line with the BU plan, in order to deliver an improved talent pipeline.
  • To conduct and or coordinate learner assessments in line with the Group quality management framework and regulations.
  • To liaise with HR and line managers, employees and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with the quality management framework.
  • To evaluate, monitor and report on learning and development programmes and activities, including associated costs, in order to comply with quality management and business requirements.
  • To deliver systems training of endusers as well as functional leads through design and discovery sessions with endusers.
  • Implement and track learner adoption of digital training solutions as per business unit requirements.

Minimum requirements:


Education

  • 3year tertiary qualification (BA, B Comm (HR), B Soc Sc, B. Ed, B. Bus Science)
  • South African Sign Language Level 2B
  • Registered Assessor essential
  • Registered Moderator desirable

Experience

  • 3 years learning and development experience
  • 3 years Sign Language Interpreter experience
  • Learning and development evaluation
  • Experience in a distribution environment
