Stoma Nurse: Johannesburg - Sandton - Coloplast

Description

Coloplast has an opportunity for a Stoma Care Nurse to join our team in South Africa.

This role requires a registered nurse who provides clinical expertise in pre and post-operative services and the day-to-day management of individuals with ostomies.

Major Areas of Accountability

• Stay up-to-date with professional credentials and education to maintain expertise as a clinical expert.
• Act as a clinical liaison, advising individuals regarding planned surgical procedures, the impact of living with a stoma, and ostomy care.
• Support in-hospital clinics in collaboration with hospital-employed staff.
• Establish and support new centers for end-users.
• Deliver education to diverse groups, including internal and external customers and end-users.
• Represent Coloplast at approved national and regional conferences and trade shows.
• Report key clinical learnings and opportunities back to senior leadership.

Essential Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a bachelor's degree.
• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting working with patients and/or end-users.
• Prior experience in the medical industry is an asset.
• National and domestic travel is required.
• The successful candidate must reside in the Johannesburg region.

• Self-motivation with the ability to work independently.
