Production Manager FMCG / Food & Bev /Agri

Northern Suburbs, Cape Town - Western Cape - South Africa

Our client is seeking a leader who has the traits of Owning it driving long-term results and being proactive.

You will be required to plan, organize and control the activities in the Production departments:
Extrusion, Printing, Lamination, Slitting, and Conversion.

Take ownership of the role by developing and implementing a Production strategy to drive down costs and improve overall efficiencies in line with World Class Manufacturing practices.

In addition, you will be responsible for safety included in the ISO 9001 & BRCGS systems.

Key Professional Competencies

Grade 1
Degree or Diploma (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing management, production management, operations management)
Minimum 5 years of relevant business experience in a production facility
FMCG sector experience essential
Capable of working independently and delivering on time
An assertive, goaloriented selfstarter.
Excellent organizing skills, detail orientated and decisionmaking skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
