- Manage all staff, including monthly wages, leave recording, and staff discipline.
- Coordinate and implement staff training and development programs.
- Anticipate and facilitate guest needs to enhance their experience.
- Regularly inspect the lodge to maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Oversee property requirements, including vehicles, road maintenance, and solar systems.
- Prepare monthly reports for non-resident owners/executive members.
- Provide hands-on guest relations, assistance, and guidance.
- Manage the Rooms Division, ensuring Housekeeping and F&B departments meet high standards.
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar position in a 4 to 5-star bush lodge.
- Mature, well-presented person with a passion for hospitality.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and strong leadership abilities.
- Computer literacy and ability to manage stock and equipment.
- Hosting experience and ability to work within budgets.
- Good negotiation skills and knowledge of relevant labour laws.
- Guest-centric approach with high standards of service.
- Stable employment history with contactable references.
