- Sourcing of goods.
- Requesting for quotations from suppliers.
- Obtaining the necessary information for logistics – weight, volume, type of packaging.
- Preparing spreadsheets in Excel used for quotations.
- Calculating weight/volume and liaising with freight company for transport estimates.
- Compiling presentations.
- Corresponding with clients.
- Follow up – email, phone.
- Processing of orders with clients and suppliers.
- Following up on various issues.
- Organising the export with relevant service providers, such as freight forwarders.
- Organising 3rd party inspection with inspection companies.
- Preparing export documents: invoices, packing lists.
- Obtaining required documents from freight forwarder such as Bill of Lading, Airway bills, Road consignment notes.
- Keep client updated on order status.
- Stock report.
- Adequate language skills in English.
- Must be proficient in Excel.
- Must have good math skills.
- Adequate knowledge using Microsoft outlook – internet.
- Should be able to work under pressure.
- Purchasing and inventory management skills.
