    Voltalia South Africa is looking for a recent graduate that is excited about building their skillsets further. The position is a 12-month, full-time in office internship opportunity based in Cape Town, South Africa.

    This is a paid experience where the intern will be part of a dynamic team.

    Our Intern for Voltalia South Africa's office in Cape Town, will have the following responsibilities (non-exhaustive list):

  • Comply with the Employer's workplace policies and procedures;
  • Assist and manage project data management to share with Owners Engineers;
  • Assist with evaluation of proposals required for project Construction activities;
  • Assist with project reporting and drafting project presentations and reports;
  • Assisting in Document management and updating trackers.
  • Compiling Minutes of meetings;
  • General Administration;
  • Site Inspections;
  • Assisting in review and confirmation of as build information;
  • Assisting the Project manager in updating project control information;
  • Assisting the Project Team with quality control;
  • Assisting the Project Team with HSE compliance in the workplace;
  • Perform general duties / ad-hoc work or provide support as required by Manager(s) and colleagues in the Project team.

    REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed appropriate degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or a related field;
  • Previous knowledge and experience in renewable energy a distinct advantage;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) essential;
  • Ability to work flexible hours;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • South African Citizen with valid SA ID.

  • Self-starter, quick learner, takes initiative and ownership, eager to learn new things;
  • Good written and verbal skills, as well as effective communication;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Team player and ability to multitask;
