Introduction
Our client is looking for an experienced Demand Planner/Supply Chain Analyst to join their Gauteng-based team.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Demand Planner will be responsible for identifying opportunities for stock optimisation and process efficiencies. He/she will facilitate an effective flow of information and communication between company and client.

Review weekly stock reports and liaise with DC replenishers, buyers and client on stock availability and percentage stock-fill on deliveries, including stock cover.

Inform replenishers of the need for stock.

Coordinate the confirmation of promotions between buyers and client, and work with replenishers to increase stock levels.

Manage and track aging stock, resolve in conjunction with replenishers and buyers.

Manage and track stores not stocking KVI lines, and thereafter report to Manager.

Check daily orders placed and ensure accuracy.

Assist with necessary price changes.

Capturing and removal of product listings; in conjunction with Admin Team.

Assist with the coordination of truck loads and ensure deliveries run on schedule.

Monthly reporting.

Returns/rejections claims investigations.

Manage information requests on behalf of client, in conjunction with company management.

Ensure Planner places orders for new products as per KAMs recommended order quantities.

Organise stock for promotional items.

Review weekly stock reports and communicate with DC replenishers

Desired Experience & Qualification
Tertiary qualification in Marketing and/or Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics Management.

At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.

Experience as a Demand Planner in the FMCG sector.

Excel and Powerpoint:
advanced.

SAP (advantageous)
