    Job Title: Engineering Manager

    We are seeking a degree qualified Engineering Manager with experience managing engineering maintenance for group operations across international mining sites.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide engineering support to group operations internationally, focusing on Africa.
    • Deploy and standardize the maintenance management system.
    • Instill best practice safety standards and procedures across operations.
    • Ensure quality and service objectives are achieved through continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Conduct maintenance gap analyses and operational audits.
    • Report as required.
    • Lead technical maintenance management across company operations.
    • Act as a reliability subject matter expert for condition monitoring requirements and audits.
    • Ensure world-class engineering maintenance standards are achieved, retaining and growing the client base.
    • Evaluate maintenance strategies to ensure effective design and implementation across sites.
    • Maximize equipment reliability.
    • Budget and cost control, reducing costs where possible.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a similar relevant field.
    • 15 years' experience in engineering management for mining operations and mineral processing, with at least 5 years at group management level across international operations.
    • Proven expertise in implementing upgraded processes and maintenance management systems.
    • Strong CMMS experience and computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
    • Well-versed in lean methodologies, statistical analysis and automated systems.
    • Professional registration advantageous.
    • Well-versed in legal compliance and global best practice for safety standards.
    • Excellent communication, problem identification and solving and analytical skills.
    • Asset and project management experience.

    About the Position:

    This is a permanent contract opportunity.

    Applicants should have a strong background in engineering management, with experience working in international mining operations.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and ensuring world-class engineering maintenance standards are achieved.
