    Key Responsibilities:

    We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Duty Manager to assist with the day-to-day running of our property. The successful candidate will have excellent event management skills, be proficient in social media platforms, and possess strong staff management experience.

    Main Duties:

    • Coordinate weddings and events, covering all aspects of event management
    • Assist in content creation and manage the property's social media pages
    • Follow standard procedures in an organized and proactive manner while ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and professionalism
    • Complete accurate quotes, contracts, purchase orders, and billing for each event
    • Liaise with other departments to ensure the smooth running of each event
    • Maximize sales and meet departmental objectives and targets
    • Conduct site visits for clients to maintain event standards
    • Perform ad hoc reports, clerical, and administration duties as needed

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • A formal qualification
    • At least 5 years' experience within the hospitality industry
    • Staff management experience
    • Experience in event management and planning
    • Proficiency in using social media platforms
    • A flair for aesthetics
