We are looking for an experienced Reservationist to join a team at a Game Reserve Head Office in Joburg.

Working alternating weekends
Responsibilities include but not limited to:To deal with reservation enquiries, bookings, deposits, cancellations, confirmations, pro-forma's etc.

procedureTo deal with the waitlists and complimentary reservations as per procedureTo ensure that provisional bookings are followed upCheck for double bookingsMaximise occupancy with liaison of the reservationists, Reservations Manager and the General ManagerMaintain good relations with all other departmentsBalance occupancies dailyEnsure that all filing is up to dateMaintain guest history as per procedureEnsure credit policy is adhered toFollow up on travel agent voucher correspondence and other documentation that might be outstandingEnsure the smooth running of the reservations departmentCheck arrivalsCheck groups - check payment receivedDaily reports to be completed and sent to accordinglyCheck up on no shows and cancellationsReporting to directorsSober Habits, NO DRUGSImpressive time management and organisational skillsDazzling telephone and communication skillsFriendly but professional work ethic.
