    Sales Manager Job Description

    Job Title: Sales Manager

    Reports to: Sales & Marketing Director and Executive Team

    Work Hours: 45 hours per week, Full Time, Normal Hours 8am-4:30pm, 2 Saturdays per month 8am-12pm

    Job Responsibilities:

    • BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS
    • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers through in-person and phone calls.
    • Research the market and related products to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
    • Presentation of products or services in a structured professional way, face-to-face marketing.
    • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new enrollments.
    • Respond to incoming email and phone inquiries.
    • Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential customers.
    • Negotiate terms of an agreement and close sales.
    • Gather market and customer information.
    • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations.
    • Challenging objections to get customers to buy.
    • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
    • Recording sales and order information and reporting to the direct campus manager/sales director and national sales manager.

    Requirements:

    • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
    • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
    • Flexibility to work on a flexible schedule when required.
