    Our client is seeking an experienced Africa Sourcing Specialist to oversee procurement operations across multiple countries in Africa.

    Responsibilities:

    • Procure Capex, MRO, spares, utilities, chemicals, ingredients, and technical services for African operations.
    • Manage a $100 million annual spend scope, consolidating group orders for cost savings and pricing negotiations.
    • Lead Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and Requests for Proposal (RFP) processes, ensuring company compliance.
    • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and procurement optimization strategies.
    • Evaluate supplier performance quarterly, working with the operations division to identify new suppliers.
    • Track supply chain effectiveness metrics, reporting on procurement performance.
    • Recommend process improvements and streamlining.

    Key Skills:

    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Proven experience in leading procurement projects and supplier transitions.
    • Ability to work across geographies and manage large-scale procurement operations.
    • SAP and Ariba system proficiency.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, focusing on cost savings and process optimization.
    • 10-12 years of business experience, 5-8 years in a similar sourcing role.
    • Experience in Food FMCG or a similar industry.
    • Expertise in developing end-to-end procurement strategies.
    • International supplier relationship management experience.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Technical, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.

    Estimated Salary:

    $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
