    Accounting Seniors in the Entrepreneurial Advisory Division

    We are seeking talented accounting professionals with a passion for auditing and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. As an Accounting Senior, you will play a key role in shaping the careers of junior staff members while developing business relationships.

    You will be responsible for providing clear direction, setting high standards, and creating a positive work environment. Your technical expertise and analytical skills will enable you to perform audit fieldwork, produce error-free financial statements, and finalize audit opinions.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Leadership and Coaching
      • Provide junior staff with clear goals and objectives.
      • Set appropriate standards and create a positive work climate.
      • Coach and train junior staff to improve performance.
    • Audit and Assurance
      • Perform audit fieldwork.
      • Produce financial statements that are clear, concise, and error-free.
      • Apply technical expertise and analyze data effectively.
      • Finalize and propose audit opinions and financial statements.
    • Administrative Tasks
      • Complete timesheets.
      • Manage own and others' time effectively.
      • Monitor progress and performance against deadlines and milestones.

    Requirements

    • Professional Qualifications
      • Completed SAICA training contract – Audit & Assurance elective.
      • Completed CTA (preference).
    • Technical Skills
      • Knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SMEs.
      • Working knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Pastel.
      • Proficient in CaseWare working papers.
    • Personal Qualities
      • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
      • Ability to work independently and in a team.
      • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize duties.
      • Strong communication skills (written and spoken) in English and Afrikaans.
