Our client in the facilities management space is looking for a Bid Manager to deliver high-quality bid proposals and submissions.


Key responsibilities:


  • Oversee and coordinating the bidding process within the company.
  • Analyse and evaluate bid requirements and assign them to the relevant internal departments.
  • Formulate effective strategies for the bidding process, manage resources and ensure compliance with client requirements.
  • Create comprehensive bid documents ensuring adherence to the tender guidelines.
  • Regular and timeous updates to internal stakeholders, monitoring progress and bid outcomes.
  • Lead and manage the bid team to deliver excellence in all bid functions.
  • Support the Sales Department and specifically the Sales Specialists and Business Development Specialists in preparing quality proposals and submissions of information.
  • Reporting and management of all RFI's, RFP's, Quotations and Leads.

Education and experience
Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Sales/Business Development/Marketing

Matric (Senior Certificate)

Valid Driver's License

Min 8 Years' Solid Experience in Sales, Business Development, Market Trends & Best Practices Sales Environment

Strong Sales Knowledge & Bid Management (Ideally in the Services Industry), Negotiations Skills, Project Management, Commercial Acumen

MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook (advanced skill level).
