    The Key responsibilities for this role are to:

  • Directing and overseeing project development from inception to completion
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Creating comprehensive project plans
  • Effectively communicating expectations to team members and stakeholders
  • Estimating resources, delegating tasks, and resolving conflicts within the team
  • Managing project timelines, tracking milestones, and providing progress reports
  • Managing changes in scope
  • Mentoring team members
  • Cultivating business relationships critical to project success
  • Conducting post-project evaluation
  • Developing best practices
  • Proactively involved in project acquisition, including submission of Expression of Interest (EOIs) and proposals

  • Overseeing performance management of direct reports
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of project execution and management processes.

    Recommended Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent diploma in Engineering or Project Management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, encompassing all project development and execution aspects
  • Project Management certifications
  • Proficiency in project management software
  • Preferably PMP registration through PMI
  • Demonstrated personnel management experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities and timelines with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Prompt and efficient response to project adjustments
  • Flexibility during periods of change
  • Effective communication with team members and contractors from diverse backgrounds
  • Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating demeanour.
  • Ability to garner cooperation from various sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
  • Skill in defusing tension within project teams
  • Political sensitivity to ensure project success.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
