An opportunity for a qualified and experienced Maintenance Manager to join the exciting new phase of a manufacturing plant in Ballito about to embark on their expansion phase.

To qualify for this role you will have:

Formal qualification as
Mechanical or Electrical engineer (Degree)
Having the qualification of being appointed as a GMR 2.1 for the plant with more than 3000 kW energy consumption.
Minimum of
10 years' experience in a
manufacturing company (fmcg), preferably in plastic recycling, plastic industry or food packaging or comparable industry with conveyors, extruder, and similar equipment
Ideally, experience in new plant setup, growth and expansion of a newly created operation / plant.
Proven track of leadership experience and ability to train and develop the production team.
Deep understanding of production performance metrics,
5S and Health & Safety practices
Professionalism and dedication to excellence in customer care
Ability to work independently to tight deadlines and proactive in solving problems.
Willingness to work in a challenging environment.
