- Provide professional and relevant financial advice, planning and products to new and existing clients based on their needs and requirements.
- Maintain and service these clients as part of a long-term relationship which builds loyalty to the brand and generates ongoing advice and sales.
- Assist in growing the Sanlam Adviser Business by:
- Implementing marketing plans and targets set for growing and developing the business as per the distribution strategy.
- Applying knowledge and understanding of market segmentation and customer profiles to support sales and growth within the defined market.
- Networking, prospecting and leads generation by:
- Creating business opportunities through face-to-face interactions and social or business networks.
- Prospecting new clients through creative opportunities such as associations or ad-hoc presentations.
- Turning trusted relationships into business relationships and strengthening existing ones.
- Client consultations and sales by:
- Providing compliant and sound personal financial planning advice aligned to Treating Customers Fairly.
- Conducting comprehensive fact finding and presenting financial solutions to clients in a professional manner.
- Client Service by:
- Ensuring all client interactions are ethical, courteous and professional.
- Following up or referring existing business queries to be resolved timeously.
- Monitor, update and reporting by:
- Documenting and presenting activities such as contacts, appointments, consultations, issued business and revenue against targets.
- Updating client details on records and workflow monitor system entries.
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) "Fit and Proper" requirements and Regulatory Examination successfully completed if registered with Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) for more than 24 months.
