Description

Client based in Westmead, Pinetown is looking for a Logistics Manager.

Able to work Monday to Thursday 7am to 6pm. Friday to 12.30.

Matric minimum. Excel experience essential. Pastel an advantage.

Supply Chain Management: Coordinating the entire supply chain process, from procurement of raw materials to delivery of finished products.

Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels, optimizing inventory turnover, and ensuring adequate stock levels to meet customer demands without excess.

Warehousing: Overseeing warehouse operations, including storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods, while maintaining inventory accuracy.

Cost Management: Identifying opportunities to reduce transportation costs, minimize inventory holding costs, and improve overall logistics efficiency.

Risk Management: Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and developing strategies to mitigate them, such as implementing contingency plans for disruptions in transportation or supply.

Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards related to transportation, customs, and trade.

Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as procurement, manufacturing, sales, and customer service to optimize logistics processes and meet organizational goals.

Salary:
Up to R15 000,00 per month
