Merchandise Manager - Midrand, South Africa - Cotton On Group
Description
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND- Bachelor's or higher level degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain/Merchandise Management, Finance or business.
- Five or more years of experience managing within an Head Office Merchandise Environment
- Retail Planning and Merchandise Management experience
- Ability to understand technology and how this impacts supply chain/Merchandise strategies.
- Experience working in a similar environment preferred
- Project management and systems implementation experience
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels in the business
- Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
- Exceptional organisation, time management and multitasking skills
- Aptitude with numbers and understanding of accounting concepts
- Ability to achieve deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy
- Outstanding attention to detail
- An understanding of and appreciation of Cotton On's Core Purpose and Core Values
- Flexible and thrives on challenge on a day to day basis
- Reliable & helpful to all coworkers strong customer service approach
- A sense of humour
