    Description

    Senior Electrical Design Engineer

    The Role:

    A leading player in the Renewable Energy sector seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead a team and design systems for commercial and industrial applications. As a seasoned expert, you will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and driving innovative solutions.

    This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a passion for solar design and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects, including solar power stations and MV installations
    • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions
    • Mentor and motivate a team of junior engineers to achieve project goals
    • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and apply new technologies to drive innovation and efficiency

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
    • Minimum 10 years' experience in solar design, power station design, and MV projects

    Package & Remuneration

    An attractive remuneration package is offered, commensurate with experience, ranging from R800 000 to R1 200 000 per annum.
