    Description
    The successful candidate will be required to have:
    • Health and Safety certification
    • Higher education in construction management
    • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
    • Have 3 years work experience as a contracts manager specifically in the construction industry
    Responsibilities and Skills of Position:
    • Overseeing and coordinating projects from the planning to the completion of project
    • Ensuring all assigned projects are complete within budget and deadline dates
    • Supervising teams and sub contractors to ensure optimal efficiency and high quality service at all times
    • Inspecting assigned sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards
    • Supervising and instructing teams as well as subcontractors on each site
    • Attend site meetings
    • Assisting with ordering and obtaining supplies, scheduling equipment maintenance and managing employees
    • Must have excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Must have excellent organisational and planning skills
    • Must be able to interpret engineering plans and drawings
