    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Stock Controller.

    Responsibilities:

    • Vehicle Stock Control and Invoicing

      • Bring vehicles into stock using established procedures.
      • Invoice new and used vehicles in accordance with prescribed procedures.
      • Issue orders for PD, reconditioning, and fitting of accessories.
      • Create and control all necessary documentation for vehicle movements.
      • Create and update each incoming vehicle file on the Management Information System.
      • Complete internal stock transfer documentation.
      • Compile and distribute stock sheets as required.
      • Ensure all documentation and processes are completed to stock a vehicle.
      • Verify that all deal files are complete with required documentation before submission to the Administration Department.
    • Administration Tasks

      • Manage Petty Cash.
      • Reconcile Petty Cash Vouchers and allocate costs.
      • Prepare Creditors Accounts for payment and submit.
      • Issue orders as required and cost to correct account numbers.
      • Liaise with Debtors and Creditors Departments on all matters.
    • Customer Communications

      • Handle customer queries as required.
      • Follow up on internal and external customer complaints and queries.
      • Relieve at switchboard as required.
      • Communicate in a friendly and courteous manner at all times.

    The ideal candidate will possess a Grade 12/Matriculation qualification and previous experience in stock control, invoicing, accounting, or a similar administrative role. Familiarity with accounting principles and invoicing procedures is an asset. Experience within the Automotive Industry is also desirable.
