    Director of Consulting & Analytics - Sub-Saharan Africa

    Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Consulting & Analytics for a senior leadership role within their Sub-Saharan Africa consulting team.

    The ideal candidate will be a proven leader in delivering data-driven, consultative solutions, with a strong focus on payments, banking, and cards. Experience in these areas is crucial and non-negotiable.

    This role will involve driving growth in the Digital and Commercial practice areas, developing strategies for new product offerings, managing client relationships, and overseeing large-scale projects across the region.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and design data-driven consulting programs, focusing on new products, strategy, digital innovation, and commercial services.
    • Solve complex strategic challenges and create actionable roadmaps for client program delivery.
    • Manage large, multi-market projects, ensuring collaboration and synergies across teams.
    • Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Client Services teams to ensure the seamless delivery of consulting services.
    • Drive business development through consultative sales and the successful delivery of projects.
    • Mentor junior team members and promote the adoption of global best practices.
    • Oversee project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
    • Ensure compliance with internal standards and risk management protocols.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 12+ years of experience in financial services or consulting, specifically in payments, cards, or banking. Experience in these areas is non-negotiable.
    • Strong client management and consulting skills, with proven ability to influence senior management.
    • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; superior project management skills.
    • A post-graduate Degree is preferred.
    • Extensive experience working in a multi-cultural environment with cross-functional teams.
    • Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.

    Leadership & Personal Skills:

    • Proven ability to demonstrate integrity and a constructive approach to business challenges.
    • Skilled in stakeholder influence and leading change management initiatives.
    • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and team management abilities.

    Additional Information:
