Description

A busy transport company in Mount Edgecombe is currently looking for a Financial supervisor to manage the accounts department. Must have at least 5 years experience in Sage VIP/ online, Pastel. Must have knowledge of debtors and creditors. Able to lead a team and provide reporting on a weekly bases.

Person must be able to work with a young team and able to work in a fast pace environment, highly pressured.

Common responsibilities of a financial manager include:

Producing accurate financial reports and information
Developing cash flow statements
Projecting profit
Managing credit
Providing advice in making financial decisions
Directing investments
Making financial forecasts
Budgeting
Managing risk of financial loss
Vat
Managing Junior staff member

To carry out their responsibilities, financial managers need to maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements.
