    Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk

    We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly reports, ensuring internal controls, maintaining master data, setting credit terms, and managing cash flow.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain age analysis with overdues not exceeding 5% of total age.
    • Follow up on bad debts and recoveries as per policy.
    • Provide quantum reporting on debt reports and collection of outstanding debt by the 15th of each month.
    • Ensure accurate sale reporting and balancing of dispatches to sales reports by 14:00 on D+2.
    • Process receipts, cashbook, and cash sales daily.
    • Perform regular credit checks and new credit assessments to ensure customer reliability.
    • Liaise with audit teams and provide support as needed.
    • Analyze data to inform financial decisions and identify variances for management action.
    • Resolve financial queries and provide assistance to mine managers and site administrators.
    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to meet group deadlines.

    Requirements:

    • National Diploma in Finance or equivalent qualification.
    • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
    • Accuracy with figures and SAGE ACCPAC ERP skills.
    • Excel proficiency and excellent communication skills.
    • Proactive and able to plan ahead under tight deadlines.
    • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Team player with ability to work in a dynamic environment.
