About the Debtors Clerk

We are seeking a experienced
Debtors Clerk to join our growing Finance Team at our
Richmond Park, Cape Town branch.

The purpose of this role is to assist with financial and administrative duties.

You will be required to process and monitor all incoming payments (Accounts Receivable) ensuring accuracy and efficiency as well as verifying and posting receipts.

Debtors Administrator responsibilities are:

Processing receipts to customer accounts
Allocating receipts to invoices via remittance
Determines which accounts are overdue
Processing sales orders
Passing credit notes
Assessing customer limits and accounts
Send statements, invoices and PODs to companies to recover outstanding debt
Make follow up calls
Adhoc duties

Required:

Minimum of Matric or NQF4 equivalent essential
Post Matric Qualification preferred

yrs experience in an accounts receivable role

High level of Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting, must be proficient in Excel
