Sales Agent Position

Complement Recruitment seeks a Sales Agent consultant based in Cape Town, Western Cape.

Purpose of the Position

This role is responsible for day-to-day support to retail stores, attending to queries and complaints from stores and customers.

You will drive sales growth in the business through the expansion of our current customer base.

Main Responsibilities

Provide daily interaction with the current customer base.
Grow the customer base outside of group stores.
Manage relationships with key customers.
Analyze the market and gather competitor information.
Compile weekly and monthly feedback reports.
Offer hands-on training to group and independent sales personnel.
Provide technical support to retail stores, advising on product suitability and applications.
Drive upselling of products and improve sales basket.
Resolve customer complaints and perform root cause analysis.
Maintain good relationships with internal processes.

Requirements

Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
Proven experience in a retail sales environment.
Familiarity with adhesive industry or powder-ash based products is advantageous.
Valid driver's license required.
Daily travel to visit retail stores is essential.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent time management and communication skills.
A proactive person with goal-driven abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain personal control.
