This position is a field-based role within the Established Pharmaceutical Division, in KZN Inland Route where we are committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the world's fastest-growing countries.

Our broad portfolio of high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory.


The role of
Medical Sales representative is responsible for sales activities within the KZN Area, looking after both Doctor detailing and Pharmacies i.

What You'll Do:


  • Responsible for Detailing Cardiovascular, Theater, Women's health, Respiratory, Gastro and OTC Portfolio to Specialists, GP's and Pharmacies
  • Pharmacy or related health science degree
  • Achievement of sales, market share and growth objectives in the region.
  • Design appropriate strategy to achieve sales goals and targets in assigned territory.
  • Maintain satisfactory customer call rate, strike rate and territory coverage.
  • Compile and update sales operating plan for region.
  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Arrange and run CME events, Roundtables and business activities.
  • Attend trade displays and presentations.
  • Attend cycle meetings and conferences.
  • Complete country trip and day trips.

Required Qualifications
A Degree in Biochemistry, pharmaceutical Sciences, Human Physiology, Marketing OR Related is Essential. A commercial qualification would be beneficial.


Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years; experience have detailed to Specialists and GP's
  • Experience in Cardiovascular, CNS, Antibiotics and Gastro and and/or related pharmaceutical sales will be an advantage. Established relationships with HCP's and Pharmacies in the territory will be an advantage.
  • Strong sales track record and sound organizational skills Preferred Qualification
  • Problem Solving skills and team orientated.
  • Integrity, initiative and adaptability
