Description
The Core Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing large and complex projects within the ICT sector. Here are the key requirements for this role:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing complex projects, with at least 5 years as a Project Manager for major ICT delivery projects.
- Core Degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Membership in a professional institution.
- Preferred certifications: PMP and PRINCE2 Practitioner. A Masters Degree is a plus.
- Specific experience in managing projects such as Data Centre Civil Works, Electrical and Mechanical Infrastructure Upgrades, and Integration Infrastructure Testing.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging with executive management, presenting project progress reports, and managing stakeholder communications.
- Experience in establishing project control processes and tools, tracking project health, and managing risks and issues.
- Coordination with Project Managers, Service Managers, and key stakeholders to identify and manage dependencies.
- Facilitation of senior manager workshops and deployment of best project management practices.
- Ensuring adherence to project delivery processes, maintaining project quality, and supporting business transformation.
- Knowledge of Change Management, Health and Safety regulations, and experience in customer-facing roles.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management and relationship building.
- Location: Gauteng, with virtual meetings as the primary mode of engagement.
- Requirement to access company domains and communication applications from a personal laptop.
