IQbusiness is seeking to employ a digital specialist on a
12 month contract to join a team working from our offices in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

The digital specialist will collaborate with international stakeholders and be responsible for updating web-based content for our Swiss client.


Type: 12 month contract


Location:

office based 5 days per week (IQbusiness Welgemoed office, Cape Town) with the option of changing to hybrid (3 days per week in office) after a training/onboarding period.


Main responsibilities / Job mission:


  • Follow the website content guidelines and ensure the content is published on time
  • Provide content support to the business stakeholder
  • Review and evaluate Web page content and information architecture to provide suggestions
for improvement

  • Collaborate with the Graphics Designers to request digital assets for the web pages
  • Perform basic HTML updates and changes
  • Run broken link reports and resolve contentrelated issues

Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience creating and maintaining website content using WordPress CMS.

Competencies

  • WordPress CMS experience using Elementor and/or Gutenberg
  • Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Knowledge of Website design and layout for multichannel (web and print)
  • Detailed and organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English (oral and written)
