DUTIES:


  • Repair and service to the full range of Bell Equipment's earth moving machines:
  • Strip, assess, quote, plan, repair & complete accident damage or rebuild machines.
  • Strip, assess & rebuild machine components, including engine, transmission, axles, pumps etc.
  • Diagnose & repair drive line, cooling fuel, air & hydraulic systems.
  • Plan for parts & equipment required for specific repairs.
  • Use computer to order, create pick list, quotes etc.
  • Write technical Reports

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Applicants must be qualified Earthmoving Mechanic
  • 5 years post trade experience in mechanical repair field
  • Advanced auto electrical diagnostic capabilities.
  • Basic welding skills.
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Extensive knowledge of heavy earthmoving equipment.
  • Valid Driver's licence.
  • Applicants must have their own set of tools.
