Job Description:


Responsibilities:


  • Design and create digital and print materials using Adobe Creative Suite software or Corel Draw
  • Ensure that all materials adhere to our company's brand guidelines and meet our client's requirements
  • Operate and maintain Ricoh, Xerox and other production machines for printing, copying, and finishing
  • Manage and troubleshoot EFI Fiery digital frontend programs for the printing process
  • Collaborate with other members of the design team to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in desktop publishing and printing technology
  • Provide support for other designrelated tasks as needed
  • Assisting with customer service in store.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, desktop publishing, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in desktop publishing and/or graphic design in the printing industry
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) as well as Corel Draw
  • Experience with EFI Fiery digital frontend programs for printing and operating, Xerox production machines
  • Experience printing large format using HP335 printer and Software such as Production Manager (Flexi)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong communication and time management skills

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kempton Park, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Design: 2 years (preferred)
Digital Printing: 2 years (preferred)
