Description

  • To perform administrative tasks in support of overall programmes and operations of the Currency Integrity Enablement functions within the Currency Management Department (CMD) of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB).
  • Detailed Description
to maintain databases of approved currency devices, users and suppliers.
- to perform general administrative tasks in support of currency device approval requests and tests facilitation.
- to assess the completeness and accuracy of the dye-stained banknotes claims.
- to create and prepare processing plans for dye-stained banknote claims.
- to schedule meetings, draft minutes and maintain all process related documentation.
- to pro-actively manage internal and external stakeholder expectations and communicate with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner i.e. commercial banks, CIT companies, retailers and other state organisations.
- to perform general administrative duties as required by the section.

  • Coordinate Training and public awareness schedules with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements
a relevant Higher Certificate (NQF 5) in Business Administration or Equivalent.

  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Business writing skills

Job Related Work Experience:


  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in administration or similar.
