    Description

    The Tower Group is seeking a seasoned leader to drive business performance and take ownership of a region. This challenging position requires a positive attitude, tenacity, energy, and ambition to achieve high standards and goals in multiple functional areas.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Achieve regional revenue targets and goals
    • Ensure compliance with customs and SARS requirements
    • Oversee daily operations and management of regional budget and costs
    • Foster collaboration and synergies between operations and commercial teams in the region

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent
    • 5+ years of senior management or leadership experience

    Competencies:

    • Strategic management competencies to shape and refocus the business for growth
    • Understanding of key business financial drivers and interpretation of key indices
    • Effective communication and negotiation skills
    • Functional knowledge of general management, commercial and operational experience in warehousing, supply chain, logistics, and refined metal exports in Africa
