    Description

    Smartprocurement seeks an accomplished GCC Factory Engineer to join their team at their Hammanskraal factory. The ideal candidate will ensure the site's fixed assets are capable and consistently fit for purpose, focusing on asset reliability and plant performance.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Ensure technical integrity and availability of equipment comply with regulations.
    • Apply Good Engineering Practices at all times.
    • Implement repairs/modifications resulting from gap analysis.
    • Provide direct coaching to mechanics in machinery and line operation skills.
    • Maintain the highest ethical conduct principles, adhering to community, consumer, company, and engineering profession standards.
    • Meet client requirements in accordance with business needs.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical field, preferably in food manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
    • Degree/Diploma in engineering (mechanical or electrical) and government ticket of competency for factories are mandatory.
