    Job Description

    As the Salesforce Developer and Tech Lead, your primary responsibility will be to lead the team in designing, building, and implementing customized solutions on the platform. Your expertise in Salesforce development languages and technologies, as well as your ability to lead a team, will enable you to deliver custom or out-of-the-box solutions that enhance productivity, streamline processes, and drive innovation within the Salesforce ecosystem for Insurance.

    This role will have day-to-day management of our Salesforce technical team, onshore and offshore. You'll oversee programmatic elements, Integration, Data Migration, and we'll need you to have a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, and basic to intermediate understanding of integrations, single sign on, security, etc. (Mulesoft, IBM Connect, etc.). You'll coordinate design elements with a Solution Architect and Project Manager. You'll lead the development of customized components, so we're looking for candidates who can get their hands dirty and jump in and write code if necessary (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, front end web technologies).

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the design, development, and implementation of customized solutions on the Salesforce platform.
    • Manage the day-to-day activities of the Salesforce technical team, including onshore and offshore teams.
    • Oversee programmatic elements, Integration, and Data Migration.
    • Coordinate design elements with a Solution Architect and Project Manager.
    • Develop customized components using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and front end web technologies.

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development.
    • Salesforce Developer certifications.
    • Copado certifications.
    • Experience in managing a development team.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience managing developers is a huge plus.
    • Well-rounded in both functional and technical aspects of a CRM engagement.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Combination of business analysis and technology implementation experience.
    • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and be creative within a team.

    Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Salesforce development languages like Apex and Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL).
    • Knowledge of platform limits, governor limits, and best practices for efficient code development.
    • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Experience with Salesforce integration techniques, including REST and SOAP APIs.
    • Strong skills in problem-solving and debugging.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
