A key aspect of this position will be to generate relevant, interesting and engaging content across digital mediums both internal and external communications.
Working with the creative and strategic team, you will be one of the key people responsible for ensuring strong strategic direction on content and overall content excellence.
Note:
We are not however looking for a journalist, but rather someone who understands digital marketing and corporate communication that can work in a collaborative environment.
The role:
Our integrated digital environment requires a hybrid of conceptual thinking and logic - your primary role is to develop brand voice and craft brand messages across all platforms including marketing and communication strategies that deliver against a client's business objectives and successfully inform the various outputs of the bigger agency.
Responsible (digital-savvy) for all communications, social media, online media, and content creation (copywriting), among other things
Conceptualise, edit, write and re-write articles, features, ad copies, and other content
Writing all brand communications - customer communications, internal communications, B2B and B2C communications
Ensure that a consistent brand tone is maintained across all communication channels and that all written copy conforms to minimum standards
Proofread and quality check of all projects in studio
Work with studio team on developing and executing client briefs
Manage various jobs across various platforms and mediums - CRM, social media channels, internal communication and external communication
Produce accurate and insightful reports of a high quality to show ROI
Requirements:
In order to succeed you will need to demonstrate previous results and the impact you achieved with client to their business.
Reliable transport (own reliable vehicle essential)
Degree or diploma in the relative field - communication and/or marketing
Minimum three years' industry experience in the digital agency environment
Excellent command of the English language, copy editing, proofreading and copywriting skills
Strong conceptual and writing skills with a comprehensive knowledge of the digital landscape
Excellent grasp of the written word and comfortable writing for multiple mediums including strategy, social media and campaigns
Personal skills/attributes:
A hands-on and professional approach with both clients and team members
Highly attentive to detail - you are a 'well-organised' freak
Prepared to work late (if needed) go the extra mile
Must be able to perform under pressure and deliver on fixed timelines
Must have excellent ability to work with people within cross functional teams
Must have strong networking, facilitation and negotiation skills
A strategic and business thinker who is confident, self-motivated, articulate and practical.
