Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the packaging industry to find a skilled and experienced Lamination Operator. As a Lamination Operator, you will play a critical role in the production process, operating and maintaining lamination machinery to ensure the proper bonding of materials.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Laminating and Inspection processes take place in the shortest possible time to produce products that always conform to all specifications at the maximum possible speed producing no waste.
• Do running quality checks to ensure products consistently conform to all specifications.
• Ensure the ISO 22000 Environmental Management Systems policies, procedures, and SOPs are adhered to at all times.
• Ensure all events that occur on and / or affect the machine during a shift are logged accurately (duration and description, product and quality).
• Ensure that the required machine maintenance is reported and carried out.
• Ensure machines and equipment are always kept clean and a full clean to required standards is done when scheduled.
• Ensure that all tasks allocated by the Supervisor or HOD to you are executed effectively

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics as a pass.
• 3 years previous Lamination experience in a flexible packaging environment, which includes solvent free, solvent based and cold seal applications.
• Trade tested Operator or RPL
• High level of numeracy
• Ability to communicate fluently in English including reading and neat handwriting.

• Have a high level of concentration
• Be able to think analytically
