    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Perform manual test case analysis to ensure accuracy and precision.
    • Extract test requirements from business needs to identify automation candidates.
    • Develop test cases within various tool sets, leveraging your expertise in software testing.
    • Create automated test cases, estimate effort, and maintain them to ensure high-quality results.
    • Conduct code peer reviews and documentation to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.
    • Execute automation testing against system(s) under test, ensuring thorough coverage and reliability.
    • Log defects, retest, and enter change requests to facilitate efficient issue resolution.
    • Transfer knowledge to clients and team members through effective communication and training.
    • Possess proficient skills in object-oriented programming (OOP).
    • Familiar with development languages, including C# and Java, as well as mobile application development and testing.
    • Adept in using Soap and RESTFUL services, as well as testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Soap UI, Jira).
    • Experience in service virtualization, data virtualization, and hyper-converged infrastructure is highly valued.

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    • Proven experience with System Development Life Cycle models, such as Waterfall, Rapid Application Development, Spiral Model, Agile, etc.
    • Demonstrated basic development knowledge and understanding of quality assurance methodologies.
    • Ability to follow instructions, work independently, or collaborate with a team as needed.
    • Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for full product development life-cycle.
    • High adaptability and flexibility to changing environments.
    • Working knowledge of SQL is an asset.
    • Skilled in Java, front-end automation (in-sprint), API automation (in-sprint), and NFT (using JMeter) for Web/Mobile applications.
