Opportunity Available Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a Quality Manager to join their dynamic team in East London.


  • Ensure that the entire Quality Management system is running to the benefit of the customer and company
  • Ensure that targets are met on a monthly and daily basis
  • Ensure that project related tasks are actioned and achieved in the given time allocated
  • Communicate with sub ordinates all changes in the department and plan the workflow of the team to accommodate additional tasks
  • Plan and incorporate additional tasks assigned to the current load e.g. projects
  • Identify the training needs for the department and request from HR Department
  • Monitor and implement any corrective actions as required
  • Maintain a good working relationship with the customers and suppliers of the company
  • Be a team player and assist other departments when able to
  • Maintain the time and attendance, discipline of the department e.g. weekly time sheet, overtime etc.
  • Be a suitable role model
  • Address problems and provide advise
  • Support the Statistical Process Control and operator self inspection process
  • Intervene in any process not producing quality products as laid down by specifications and procedures
  • Strive for continuous improvement at all times
  • Enforce policies
  • Ensure a functional Team is available to run the day to day operation of a plant
  • Set up all necessary communication channels with customer to have a successful interaction.

Job Requirements:

years experience in Quality Management
years experience in Metrology (CMM)
years experience in an Automotive Manufacturing plant

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or related Quality Management courses and certificates
  • Trained in IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 and ISO 1400
