An exceptional Internal Sales Representative is required for an aluminium window and door hardware supplier based in Silverton -Pretoria. This self-starter will work within the sales team, working closely with the warehouse and operations team. Reporting to the Internal Sales Team Leader.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric
Tertiary qualification is advantageous but not essential
Proficient in both English and Afrikaans
Technically minded -Technical background would be beneficial
2-3 years solid experience in Internal Sales

Duties and Responsibilities:

Increase customer order baskets and boost sales against specific targets
Telephonic cold calling
Provide support to External Sales Reps
Maintain and develop key customers
Process customer orders and quotations with accuracy and speed Attention to detail must take precedence over speed
Build harmonious and respectful relations with Management, the warehouse team, the internal sales team and peers across branches
Trace delayed customer deliveries with the logistics team and relay the info to customers promptly

Keep customers regularly informed on the status of their backorders

Develop leads from the sales reps and demonstrate that you are actively bringing in the sales from these specific customers.
