Description
This position will form part of the Commercial Sales Team and will report to the Head of Exports. This individual will be responsible for prosecuting major sales and project opportunities. These involve securing new accounts and selling materially different services to existing accounts. Your purpose is to grow the companies revenue base by adding new annuities.


Duties include:


  • Grow revenue by identifying new opportunities and developing new customers and business channels in unexplored markets in the region
  • Form relationships with key regional industry stakeholders in the markets
  • Negotiate and put contracts in place with key customers and developers / corporates as part of implementing the sales strategy
  • Work with Commercial and Marketing teams to ensure that enough Trade and Project Marketing activities are in place to support the sales strategy
  • Financial and sales management monthly performance analysed

Requirements:


  • Sales system knowledge
  • CRM or ERP is essential
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years in a sales / specifying environment
  • Must have a proven record of working with external customers and stakeholders
  • Grade 12 with Maths / Maths literacy
  • Marketing Diploma / Degree preferable
  • Valid drivers licence

Note:
This role entails travelling across Africa - must have experience selling / negotiating with customers in Africa

**It would be preferable to have experience in the construction, specifications, flooring industry.
