    Minimum Requirements

    Senior Certificate (Grade or equivalent qualification) with Accounting or Mathematics as passed subjects.

    Recommendation

    Relevant experience in a financial accounting and/or management accounting working environment.

    Key Performance Areas Competencies

    Knowledge and understanding of the following: Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National Treasury Regulations and Provincial Treasury Instructions, Public Service Act, 4, as amended, Basic Conditions of Employment Act., BAS, LOGIS, Database Management, Information and Records Management, Staff Performance Management System (SPMS). Communication (written and verbal) skills. Computer literacy in MS Excel and MS Word. Interpersonal skills. Organising and planning skills. Problem-solving skills. Record keeping skills. Basic numeracy skills.

    Remuneration

    R per annum (Salary Level 5)

    Note on remuneration: Service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.

    Notes

    Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting. These candidates will be required to attend interviews on a date and time as determined by the department and may also be required to undergo competency assessments/proficiency test. The selection process will be guided by the EE targets of the employing department.
