    To enhance the Company's profitability through effective Business Development and delivering its Integrated Facilities Management services to prospective Clients. The ideal candidate will have established relationships within various sectors, strong technical FM expertise, and a deep understanding of the FM industry supply dynamics. This role focuses on prospecting new clients and working closely with the solutions design team to grow sales and revenue from new clients and secure profit contribution by accomplishing business objectives, acquiring blue chip accounts, and delivering targeted Contracted Revenue and margin growth.

    Key Responsibilities
    Strategic Sales
    1. Innovative Strategies: Develop and execute plans to increase profit levels through new business and client spend enhancement.
    2. Client Understanding: Analyze customers' businesses and strategies to create partnering concepts for solution building.
    3. Sales Growth: Formulate and execute segment plans to generate resources and/or revenue for the company.
    4. New Client Acquisition: Actively search, pursue, and engage potential clients in the Facilities Management Services arena.
    5. Proposal Development: Draft, review, and submit high-quality proposals for Facilities Management Services and Bundled Services.
    6. Supplier Partnerships: Engage with strategic suppliers to partner with Facilities Management when proposing Facilities Management Services and Bundled Services.
    7. Negotiation and Analysis: Analyze and negotiate commercial models with strategic partners to ensure optimal commercial and operational solutions for Facilities Management.
    8. Business Innovation: Identify new opportunities and ways to do business.
    9. Growth Initiatives: Execute strategic initiatives to accelerate growth in business development and increase market share.
    10. Selling Techniques: Recommend creative, unique, and effective selling techniques based on researched market propensities.
    11. Negotiation Strategies: Develop negotiation strategies and positions by studying integration within Company strategies and operations.
    Sourcing New Clients
    1. Market Research: Identify leads, new market business opportunities, and trendsetting ideas through holistic research of the Facilities Management industry.
    2. Forecasting: Provide accurate and timely forecasts through utilizing appropriate outsourcing tools and processes, and maintaining relevant information on prospect Clients.
    3. Quotations: Develop accurate, rapid cost calculations and provide prospect Clients with favorable market-related quotations.
    4. Executive Representation: Provide Executive-level representation at high-level meetings with potential Clients.
    5. Deal Negotiation: Negotiate the terms of the Business Development Agreement and close deals sourcing new growth opportunities in industries.
    6. Trade Exhibitions: Represent the Company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations.
    Client Relationship Management
    1. Relationship Building: Develop, manage, maintain, and grow sound business relations with current and potential Clients through all phases of the business development/sales cycle with internal and external Clients.
    2. Effective Communication: Responsible for effective communication between Clients and the Company.
    3. Client Visits: Consistently touch base and visit prospect Clients for new business.
    4. Site Visits: Co-ordinate Client site visits and deliver informative presentations in conjunction with Operations management.
    5. Ethical Business Practices: Engage with internal Clients to ensure that business is transacted accurately and within pricing guidelines, to the highest ethical standards.
    Reporting and Analytics
    1. Pipeline Reporting: Provide monthly reports on pipeline (current & potential) business.
    Education and Qualifications
    1. Matric (Senior Certificate).
    2. Bachelor's Degree/National Diploma in Sales, Business Development, Project Management, Supply Chain preferable.
    3. Valid SA Drivers' License.
    Experience and Skills
    1. 4-6 years relevant experience.
    2. Computer Literacy: MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook (Advanced skill level).
    3. Maintained knowledge of Business Development, market trends, and best practices within the Marketing/Sales environment.
    4. Commercial Awareness: Solid understanding of organizational business processes and procedures.
    5. Facilities Management Knowledge: Solid knowledge of Facilities Management, CRM, Property Management & Financial Management processes, systems, standards & acceptable practices.
    6. Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills.
    7. Administrative Skills: Excellent administration skills.
    8. Communication Skills: Excellent communication (both oral and written) and presentation skills.
    9. OHS Act, ISO 9001 Quality Management & Risk Management Systems.
