EXTERNAL ONLY

The role:

Responsible for cleaning all the spillages and levels of coal in the loading zone, ramp and hauling roads.

The duties will include but are not limited to:

Inspects the loading zone for spillages that has fallen from trucks
Notify the findings to the foreman
Places the grader warning sign in the loading zone are where he is working
Operates the grader by releasing the blade
Cleans the spillages at the loading zone
Pushes the spillage to the edge next to the safety beam
Shapes the spillage until it forms a safe barrier
Levels the barrier
Records the finding in a preshift check book
Removed the warning boards and take them to the ramp
Informs the foreman and the operators at the ramp regarding his work
Grades the ramp
Levels the potholes in the hauling road
Levels the dumping site area
Levels the coal in the coal drilling area until he reaches the hard coal
Pushes the loose coal to the side of the area
Levels and smoothens the area after the dozers have pushed the correct level
Levels the dragline access roads that are used by the riggers, foremen, dragline operators and in case of emergency
Levels the inspection roads
Assist in pulling the dragline cables
Levels the overburden areas where the topsoil has been stripped for the drillers to work on the area
Ensure pit road safety always

You will need:

Grade 1
Valid Driver's License
Grader License / Certificate of Competency
In possession of or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness
Subject to a Dover test and must meet the minimum requirements
Demonstrate oral English language proficiency
