    Job Description:

    Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for management of the end-to-end TA service within the Business Unit (BU) to ensure an effective service is being delivered.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the BU to understand their resource needs and establish and maintain trusted relationships with HR Advisor(s), hiring manager(s) and business leader(s) to deliver against the BU Talent Acquisition (TA) strategy.
  • Lead a team of Recruitment Analyst(s) within assigned area to deliver a TA service that meets BU resource needs.
  • Create and advertise new roles on our recruitment systems, ensuring all relevant information is included in the job description.
  • Collaborate with hiring manager(s) to understand the brief of the role and the skills/capabilities required.
  • Screen CVs and job applications to determine if candidates are qualified for the role.
  • Be an expert at sourcing potential candidates through online channels (i.e. social platform and professional networks) to proactively create a pipeline of candidates for roles.
  • Work with the Sourcing Specialist(s) to assess the passive candidate's talent pools, including Alumni, to understand if they are suitable for potential roles.
  • Conduct initial telephone interviews to create a shortlist of qualified candidates and share shortlists with hiring manager(s).
  • Work with the TA Administrator(s) to manage interview schedules for candidates and hiring manager(s) to ensure a seamless service e.g., interview room booking, facilities management, using the recruitment technology solution.
  • Ensure that candidates and their statuses are actively tracked in SmartRecruiter, to ensure it reflects where candidates are up to across the TA process.
  • Collate feedback from the BU TA Partner(s) and hiring manager(s) and ensure appropriate & timely feedback is provided to candidates.
  • Upload, build on and maintain internal talent pools/ database of relevant candidates.
  • Manage the assessment process aligning to the relevant framework to ensure candidates receive and undertake the right assessment.
  • Support the interview process alongside the hiring manager and advise on interviewing techniques and assessment methods to build their capability.
  • Responsible for upskilling and coaching of hiring manager(s) within the BU and work with the TA Optimisation team to share training and guidance on key TA processes and I&D hiring practices.
  • Manage the offer process for successful candidates coordinating with the TA Administrator(s) to issue the offer letter and contract.
  • Be an expert in the recruitment process and act as an escalation point for the Recruitment Analyst(s) leveraging deep understanding of the external talent marketplace and relevant technical knowledge.
  • Qualifications:
  • NQF 7 Human Resource Degree/BTech or National Diploma
  • Valid EB/Code 08 driver's licence
  • Desirable:

  • Postgraduate or similar will be an added advantage
  • Experience:

  • 5-7 years' experience in Human Resources
  • Experience in Talent Acquisition or similar role within Human Resources
  • Senior/ executive level stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Experience in market research relating to Talent Sourcing and Talent Attraction
