Our client involved in metal crafting and sheet metal work is looking to appoint Junior Draughtsman proficient with Solid Works; additionally Autodesk Plant will be advantageous.

Job description / core competencies:

Solid modelling and detailing of metal work for custom-fabricated industrial engineering solutions transforming metal into high-quality, enduring products using a combination of traditional techniques and modern innovations.

Location (city, province): Springs, Gauteng

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Draughtsman with 2 to 5 years of experience.

Own transport.

Matric with a good head for mathematics, especially trigonometry and geometry - 50% mark in standard grade mathematics.

Solid Works (essential), Autodesk Plant (ideal).

Level-headed, focused, hardworking with a keen and passionate eye for detail.

Able to work in an open plan office.

Skilled in managing their own time and prioritising their workload to meet their deliverables.

Comfortable to function under extreme time constraints (all day every day).

Not scared to ask questions (don't assume or guess when not sure).

Able to interact with junior and senior peers.

The successful incumbent must be prepared to work as part of a team and to be prepared to share in the development of other employees by sharing knowledge acquired.

Salary:
R15, R25,000.00 per month
